I was contacted by Texas Gas Gathering about surveying in Section 4 of 16N 16W for a possible 36 inch gas line.  This is about 3 miles southwest of Greenwood.  Does anyone have more information about this?

There has been some activity on Sec 4, gates been open a lot so I checked it out. Indigo has put a nice new sign next to to old well there and have done some work around the site like their fixin to rework the well.
I have not had any more calls on this pipeline, but have recently talked to someone with Hawk Field Services (subunit of Petrohawk) and they are planning a gathering line (24 inches or less) to connect to a line in Section 35 to the east and run west through Sections 34, 33, and 32. This line will service the well being drilled just to the north of the golf course and any other wells drilled in that area by Petrohawk I assume. I think this is good news that a line will be in place to market gas from future wells. We still have not leased our properties in Sections 4 & 5 or my mother's property in Section 32.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
