"Thanks. Do you see natural gas fairing better than oil as a transition? Peak power units have been added with gas in many areas. I thought at one time we would see more CNG vehicles on the road, and I see some in the trucking industry, but not much…"

Impacts to Oil and Gas by New Adm.

What are thoughts on impacts to the oil and gas industry by the Biden administration? Biden said he would not ban fracking but we know that climate change initiatives will be a focus. I expect there are other ways to put a big disincentives on the industry through regulations and tax policies that won't be an outright ban. If left to states, I expect some will implement bans. This might leave other states actually in a better position for more drilling.

"A big question with solar, regardless of the installation cost, is availability when it is needed, not just when the sun is shining. When large scale battery storage is more cost effective, that will be the real game changer. I also think we have to…"

SONRIS Data Question

Comparing my royalty check production data to that reported on SONRIS, the basis for the check production has consistently been right at 1 percent less than SONRIS. What could be the reason for that.

Problems with Big Drilling Units

The Louisiana Department of Conservation has already approved joining some sections near the Texas line to form drilling units for the Haynesville Shale in excess of 900 acres instead of the normal 640 acre units. I understand also that Louisiana law currently limits the size of drilling units to 640 acres, so I do not understand how this change can be implemented without changing the law. Don't think this could only impact those sections on the… Continue

L. Atkins wants to check with Petrohawk. I am having a friend work this angle for me. Nothing back yet. Agurs well production still being kept a secret. Who is your contact with Petrohawk? The figure of 5000 sounds about the going price in the area.
