Super Drilling Pads Planned For Sabine County, Texas

There are plans to build Super Pads for drilling the Haynesville and Bossier shale wells in Sabine County, Texas. These Super Pads are necessary for drilling these wells to save money on location expense and for developing the natural gas reserves in and around the National Forest lands. There could be as many as 10-15 wells from each Super Pad. Chesapeake Energy has entered into the northern Sabine County to drill two wells and will probably lead the way as to Super Pad drilling of multiple wells to fully develope their leaseholds in the county. These Super Pads will also allow the operator to skid a drilling rig with limited expense. Total savings are very significant with the Super Pads.

Could it have been due to lack of interest in the offer they were making?
That was probably it jffree1.
Well!!! Well!!!! .....literally
What was Cheerleader telling you guys on May 30th when she welcomed Sabine County to the MOTHERLOAD????
When will you learn to trust Cheerleader??????
Skip, If you read the whole thread you will see that there is some good dialogue between real landowners in Sabine County. Maybe JE is just hoping that it will happen but maybe he knows something about the situation. I believe that he is in the business and also has mineral leasehold that CHK now controls. Maybe he is full of it. Nobody knows for sure. I do know that when one of the respected experts on the site squashes a thread and labels it as irrelevent that not only the few comments that fit that definition stop but so do the good bits of dialogue between land and mineral owners. We use the oilvoice quotes to spark conversation and it has gone very well for the most part in my opinion. Thanks for all you do for the site and if you have any insight to share on the area by all means share it. Lord knows we could use some news.
ALongview. My post is not intended to quash the thread. It is to remind those who are new that Oil Voice and other internet energy touters do so for a fee and should be read in that context. They are written by online publishers who may have experience in copy writing but little to no experience in the day to day workings of the oil and gas business. My notice to those not familiar with the companies mentioned in our previous thread is meant to give them a frame of reference and not to make a judgment as to the factual accuracy of the report. These tout companies do not perform any research or verify any facts as far as I can tell. They simply rephrase the information that has been provided by a paying customer. And add a lot of exclamation points. LOL! A sure sign of an energy tout report. No one in the industry would ever get caught publishing a business related document with exclamation points. It's unprofessional.
I can appreciate that. Your explanation was much more helpful than your link. The post from oilvoice are from an open forum and are not in any way intended to be documents associated with any business. Who is paying....CHK? Sabine County Chamber of Commerce? Seems odd that either of those would pick the mainstream literary behemoth oilvoice to tout anything. Yahoo finance maybe would be a better choice to tout something like that.
The link contains much more than I can comfortably post in this discussion thread. Those that find it of relevance may choose to read it but I take no offense if they do not. The genesis of these online energy touters appears to be the ascendancy of the Internet as the preferred means to tout penny stocks. And the proliferation of them is evidence that someone is buying. The linked story was of interest because I finally ran across a report that stated how much the service cost. Trying to associate an article from any of these touters with a company is difficult short of an outright mention of a company that is a great investment opportunity. A touter can help a client simply by playing up an area where they have an interest without specifically mentioning them. And much of what they post comes from public record and especially what they read in other Internet reports. They never break any news, they repackage and highlight whats already out there. Thus the core of the details of their articles can be factual, in part or in whole. I'm simply saying, understand the source and their motivation. Those looking for good news will always find it with the touters as they never publish anything negative. If any of the touters mentioned publish an article about Chesapeake or any other serious shale player you can be assured that the company didn't pay for it. The real shale players publish their own news releases, provide quarterly and year end reports and offer webcasts.
This above all: To thine ownself be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man. Farewell, my blessing season this in thee!
Most humbly do I take my leave, my lord.
Hmmm, methinks happy hour started early today!

[1] Oilvoice.com is ALWAYS ahead of the game. Name a quote that has not come to pass. Oilvoice.com has been predicting the MOTHERLOAD long before the Texas RR was posting current well permits or entering public well information. Quite frankly, at this point in time, they are actually stating the obvious. The landmen are running around San Augustine and Sabine counties, in a rush, attempting to lease without drawing attention to the now obvious fact that these counties are the MOTHERLOAD. oilvoice.com is a blessing!!
[2] I see no specific pairing of Jurassic Explorations with any investment company or industry oil and gas company whose stock will benefit by a hype of the two counties. In fact, numerous OGs are mentioned in the postings and how many laypersons actually read the web site?? For all we know the postings may be by some rogue OG person. Why would the OGs pay Jurassic Explorations to hype an unleased area?? Why are the OGs going to extremes to keep the well information "undisclosed"? Only to hype an unleased area in oilvoice.com? I highly doubt it.
[3] How much negative news do you hear when listening to a conference call which is heard by investors?? Not much!!
[4] Book burning is so outdated!!
If it will lighten your spirits and keep your mind off oilvoice.com I will move the 4th of July cheerleading camp and picnic to your front lawn! Just imagine, as you sit on your beautiful veranda sipping your mint julep, 400 20-30 year old, high energy girls, in cute red, white and blue cheerleading outfits forming an 8 person high pyramid spelling "SAN AUGUSTINE AND SABINE COUNTY MOTHERLOAD!!" and...The parade with moi as grand marshal.
Don't pass up this opportunity!!
