Pat, this is good information. Keep it coming if you can. By the way, can you record the dates the leases were signed? Thanks.
And equally important, the term of the lease. In other words, the expiration date. Good information for mineral owners to have.
Mustang is working to get the lower half of Section 8 and northern half of Section 17 in T13 N, R6 W, in the Readhimer community. The highest offer that I am aware of is $350 / acre, 25 % royalty. They are targeting a formation much shallower than the Haynesville Shale and are interested in leasing only those depths targeted. They are already surveying a drill site in the south western part of Section 8 and said that they are wanting to drill before the end of the year. Negotiations continue.
