Permalink Reply by ALongview on October 9, 2010 at 13:23 Les, in regards to the Forest, Olympia Minerals 7 #H1 Well,Serial #241002, S7-T7N-R13W, Sonris reports the DT-1 as 1615 on a size 8 choke. What would the production be on a regular choke size and is this a Bossier or Haynesville well? The true vertical depth is 12500,measured depth is 16715.Would appreciate your take on this well. Thanks in advance.

Based on the very limited information available I believe this may be a Bossier (Mid-Bossier) Shale producer. The 12500 ft TVD was the well permit but eventually Sonris will have information regarding the actual well depth drilled.

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
