I sure hope there is something good going on in Sabine County.  Where is this supposed well?
All I was told was it was a 18000 v hole.  He mentioned Marathon, but I can't find any well by them.  Only two 18000 v, Hall and Barrett.

And Barrett hasn't been drilled yet.  The completion report on the Hall well didn't show any oil or other liquids but that doesn't mean they didn't have a show at some point... just not at 18,000', I don't believe.

API 403-30463. And that's all I know.
Did you hear that the Shoco results were good?
I don't know anything about this well, it's just the only oil well I can see being drilled right now.

Sabine County

Shoco Production completed the Bourghs Creek Federal Well No. 2 to 8,000 feet 9.4 miles northwest of Milam in a wildcat field. On a .75-inch choke the well potentialed 135,000 cubic feet of gas.

This is right next to the well I mentioned. Jffree1 do you know what formation this well is producing from? Is it wet or dry gas? It's no whopper, but it is something. TIA

It is a  vertical Wildcat and I think they were looking for James Lime. That was the only interval noted on the formation record and was found at 7592'.  The TVD was 8,000' and the producing interval was from 7592' to 7624'.  There were no liquids produced in the test.
