Rock Well Petroleum (US) Inc. has permitted the sl 173 11 #3 well in Section 11 - 20N - 16W targeting the Annona Chalk.  The well will has a permitted TVD of 1540' and a MD of 5600' which will equate to a horizontal lateral length of approximately 4000'.

XTO has been drilling Annona Chalk wells in LaSalle Parish for several years. I think the formation is in the 4000 foot range down there.

 

Hey, TD,P, I was just looking at the completion report for the Rock Well #2 well trying to get an idea of the completion design.  There are no frac stages just "slide and rotate" depth intervals (MD) so I was wondering if the well might be acidized.  The drill days (45) seem a little long for the depth.  I have speculated previously about the well cost but obviously Rock Well thinks the wells are economic or can be made so with a little tweaking.
