Yesterday I was visiting our property in DeSoto Parish and saw a frac. crew working at the HV Shale well in our section. There are two wells in adjacent sections, 22 & 27, that have been completed. Does anyone know the production numbers for these wells? Or where I can get this info.

Click this Wells by Section, Township and Range link. Input info and click submit. This will bring up all wells in that section. To see production numbers, click the desired well serial number. When the next page loads scroll down to LEASE\UNIT\WELL PRODUCTION.

JW, results for Section 27.

Chesapeake, Collins 27 #H1 Well, Serial #240713, S27-T12N-R15W, DeSoto Parish, 12288 Mcfd, 22/64" Choke, 6440 psi Flowing Pressure

Thanks. We are 1/2 mile from this well. Is the Collins a good well? I understand the 12288 Mcfd, but not the 22/64" choke and 6440 psi pressure.

JW, the Collins well is reasonably good and consistent with other wells in the immediate area.

The Haynesville Shale wells are initially produced through a restriction (choke) to avoid damaging the formation and/or equipment.  The 22/64" represents the size of the restriction and the 6440 psi is the flowing pressure upstream of the restriction.  The downstream pressure would be ~ 1000 psi.

Good info. Thanks again Les. Also, thanks for the link FX.
