DIVISION ORDER LETTERS ??

People around me have been getting division order letters but me and others have not. THe division orders are from petrahawk. So it would seem they all sighned with Petrahawk. The rest of us sighned with CHK and they are the ones who drilled our well. Will the people who sighned with CHK get a division order also?????

I received one last week from PetroHawk for 28-17n-12w and haven't had a chance to contact them to find out any info about it.  I don't know about any of the other posts but I have yet to sign a contract for my mineral rights.  Is anyone else in the same situation?

What is wrong with CHK? I have a well that is split between XTO and CHK. XTO sent out DO's in Oct 2011 and has been paying checks since May 2011. CHK hasn't done ZIP!

CHK still has a backlog of DOs.  They have drilled a lot more wells than XTO.  And each requires a DO.  Just be patient.

I wrote ck last week, asking when we could recieve a DO or ck and they wrote back within the week with an answer. He said that our well went to sale October 21 and that we could expect something in the mail, no later than April. We are in s30-17n-15w, the Adams well. Hope this gives you all an idea of when you can expect DO order or even a check!

CHK has well in excess of 600 completed and producing HA wells.  XTO has 15.

Bear Dog did you get your division order from CHK friday? IF you did was it correct for your section 30? Mine said section 31 and Im right in the middle of section 30. Also the amount of land I had was less than half. Something is not right for sure. IM just trying to find out if others in section 30 had errors.

Mine has the same mistake! Sec 31 instead of 30 and less than half the acreage!

I'll be on the phone Monday...hope they are working. My neighbor had the same error..wonder if it is everyone in the section?

Wow I was afraid maybe it might not just be me. This may be a major screw up by CHK. What are they doing? I bet there are lots of section 30 people whos division order says 31. I hope they notice it before they send it in.Did they get everyone in 30 confused with 31 data? Hard to say whats going on. From what I can tell the petrahawk people in section 30 are having NO problems at all. They only had a single sheet of paper to sign and return. Some have even got checks in the last couple days. My division order was 11 pages. IT also had a subordination/Nondisturbance that they said must be filled out before 90 days if you had a mortgage. People who sighned with CHK already had to do a Subordination paper prior to getting their lease money.So Im not sure why they want another one.Dont have a good feeling about this!!!! If anyone finds out any more info on this problem with division orders in 30 please pass it along. WE need answers from CHK.

I also received a Division Order from CHK on Friday Feb. 17th for 31-17-15 H-1, I am in sec. 31 so that part seems correct.  However the DO only lists aproximately half of my leased acreage just as others here have mentioned. I am confused by this. I spoke to CHK this morning, the CHK rep was unable to explain to me why the DO doesn't have all of my leased acreage.

I am in sec 30 and sent an email to CHK...their response was

"After reviewing your account you have interest in the Adams 30-17-15 H1 and Division Orders were just mailed out on 2/16/12 and due to the holiday today you may not receive it until tomorrow. Also, you do have interest in the Sale 31-17-15 1H and Division Orders were mailed 2/15/12, which you have already received."

So it looks like they have made a Unit out of sec 30 and 31, giving me an interest in both.

My only problem is that my lease, paragraph 7, limits the size of the unit to 640 a.!

So I am waiting for their response.

Rest assured that these delays carry an interest payment after the 120 day delay from production to payment.
