I have now read where at the Broadmoor Neighborhood Association monthly meeting that they announced another meeting on July 22 and advised not to sign anything until after this meeting.
where is this meeting going to be held if you have any information I would very grateful, have not heard one word and I live in Broadmoor too.
I don't know where the meeting will be yet, but will keep you posted. I haven't received any direct info but have been searching The Times, etc. and read the above at www.shreveporttimes.com when I search Broadmoor Neighborhood Association and ShreveCentre Coalition. I understand from The Times online newspaper that the ShreveCentre Coalition will be mailing out a form to complete to all residents.
I just received an email from my Aunt and she tells me that she has talked to Jack Mcleod and Larry Farley who are with the ShreveCentre Coalition group of home owners associations in southeast Shreveport. They have a lawyer ( Alan Seabaugh) that is willing to handle the negotiations and paper work for free and the first meeting is going to be at 6:30 pm Wed July 16 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (out by LSUS).
I am not sure who is invited to the meeting. I am not going, but my Aunt is. Everything I have read indicates that if your HOA joins this group (ShreveCentre Coalition) your HOA will be sending out mailings to all residents of their neighborhood. I would contact one of your HOA board members if you don't hear anything in the next 2 weeks.

Also, in case you didn't catch my reply to another discussion link, check out this webpage on the Times community page:

Another post by Jack McLeod on The Times said that nonbinding letters of intent were put in the mail on July 14 regarding the SCC to homeowners.
All HOA's are sending out letters individually on their own timetable. My HOA will send out letters Thurs. July 17. To the best of my knowledge the SCC meeting on July 16 is not for the public, but for HOA board members.
Have you heard if the public is allowed to attend the meeting?

I am wondering what happened at the SCC meeting this Wednesday at Holy Trinity??? No one has mentioned a word about it.
To be more specific, I live on Atlantic, close to Kings. Is this area included in your group, and what do I need to do to sign up?
