AIX has within the last few months permitted 9 vertical wells in Township 23N Range 7W (East Haynesville Field) of Claiborne Parish, 8 of which were permitted or drilled to a depth sufficient to test the Brown Dense (see the "LSBD wells as of 2-3-2012" discussion in this group.)

Completion results have been reported at SONRIS Lite for 3 of these wells and perforation data reported for a 4th. Interestingly, each of these 4 wells seems to have been completed or perforated in a different formation or zone. The Hardin #1 was completed at 10430'-10520' in the Upper Smackover A zone; the Hardin #2 was completed at 10132'-10247' in the Haynesville sand; the Garrett L&T was completed at 11442'-11475' in the Lower Smackover; and the Camp et al. #1 has been perforated at 10876'-10940', which looks like the Upper Smackover C zone.

It must be nice for the operator to have so many zones from which to choose!

Then you have received a pre-conference notice letter for a unit application.  The applicant must hold a local meeting (probably Shreveport) if anyone listed on the Interested Parties list requests it.  If none do than the application will move to the Commissioner's Public Hearing schedule and be assigned a hearing date.  At that time it will be given a docket number and appear in the SONRIS database.

I'm sure members in your general area but not on this particular IP list would like to see a copy of the application.  If you can, scan it and upload here on the site.  If you can't then give the section(s) - township - range and the formation or zones being unitized.

Here is the info from the letter.

Thanks, Jackie.  The Upper Haynesville RB and Haynesville Sand RC are standard quarter section (160 acre) drilling and production units designed for development with vertical wells.

Is the land just to the north from the wells in section 9 part of this?

Jackie, it looks as if the land just to the north in section 4 is not part of this. It probably has not yet been unitized. It will be interesting to see what the sizes of the units in section 4 will be, since this is a fractional section containing around 468 acres, as I read my map.

I strongly urge all affected landowners to contact Tim Allen at Blanchartd-Walker today to request that a pre-conference hearing be held on July 5th. Especially landowners in Section 4, 23N, 7W. I think it will clarify what is going on. URGENT  Deadline is essentially today.

The AIX Energy Upper Haynesville Reservoir B and Haynesville Sand Reservoir C have been added to the Commissioner's Public Hearing schedule for August 7.  They are docket #12-469 and 12-470.

Aubrey, you know you can send a group email to all your "friends"?

 New AIX well site.

My cousin and I have around 85 acres under this well. They are drilling in just a few feet from a old well drilled on our place when I was around 6 yrs old that was about 57 years ago. We are keeping our fingers crossed on this one.

The AIX wells in the Haynesville East Field produce liquids that are often omitted from the Initial Production reported on SONRIS Lite.  Three wells recently reported on SONRIS Lite are included in the Shreveport Times Oil & Gas News article this morning.  As this report is compiled from copies of the paper reports in the District 6 office, the liquid production is included.  The Oil & Gas News is not available on line this morning for some reason but if it shows up I'll post it as usual to the Main Page.  All reported production is from Haynesville perforations.

Ernest Crump #1 (244700) 900mcf 28/64 choke and 30 bbls 58 degree gravity condensate

MCA Resources #2 (244499) 550 mcf 28/64 choke and 20 bbls 56 degree condensate

Prothro #1 (244724) 700 mcf 18/64 choke and 75 bbls 54 degree condensate

Something that is sometimes overlooked as to liguid potential are the NGL's in the post separator gas stream. In plays like the Eagle Ford and Pearsall Shale, te NGL component is a big part of the economics. Ideally, it is great to have access to post separator gas analsyis to see the various component yields that any gas volume will give up (assuming effective processing).

A good example of this is in the Pearsall where NGL's add 150-200 bbls per MMCF to the production stream.
