Who is honoring and not honoring their Lease Bonus drafts?

There has been a lot of concern and wonder as to which o&g companies are going to pay up when their lease bonus money drafts come due and who are going to let the leases simply expire. I think it would be helpful for everyone if you have a draft that has recently been honored, for you to post 1) the date the draft was made, 2) the date it was honored, and 3) the o&g company who honored their draft. And if you have been told by an o&g company that they will not honor their draft, that would be helpful too. Also, the bonus/acre amount honored or not honored would be helpful. I think this will give everyone a better idea about what to expect with outstanding drafts from the various companies.

Thoughts?

I am using Dean Searle from Marshall (he was recommended to me by a friend). From My understanding they can not, just not honor the draft, once the lease is filed at the Courthouse. They have to pay the agreed price, since the lease was filed. My landman also called me and offered 1,500.00 an acre the about the same time Mr. Searle sent the letter. But the 1,500.00 an acre is a far cry from the 14,000.00 we signed for back in August. They have ruined anyone in this area from taking a draft from an oil company. I was told after I signed that CHK was the worse o&g company to deal with.

Oh darn, I guess you can all lease to no one since Chespeake and a few other suckers has ruined
everyone by passing out free money like a bunch of idiots. I bet the
companies that are still planning on drilling in the HS have plenty of
acreage already leased so anyone that feels hurt can just hange on to their
unlesed acreage and get nothing.
