I have some Mineral rights interest in this survey that someone contacted me about buying. I'm trying to find where this survey might be located. It is called Ransom Wheeler Survey Abstract 782 Shelby County.

Looks like it is just east of Lake Pinkston in the SW part of the county.
Is there any activity in that area
Devon has permitted the Oliver 11H (a horizontal well) across the survey.
How many acrea are in the survey? How would that effect my interset in 112 acreas
It doesn't matter how many acres are in the survey. Your interest depends on how many net acres you have and what part of that is included in the well's unit. I assume you are leased.
I was contacted the other day about sell my interest of mineral rights from a man out of Houston. I have not received anything about leasing.
Do you own the property outright? All 112 ac.? Or are you an heir with an undivided interest?
I am an heir and just have a portion interest in the 112 ac. mineral rights only.
Are you sure that your interest is not already leased and is part of the Oliver unit? Maybe another heir has the executive rights and has already leased your interest? I'm not really sure that could happen without your knowledge but it may be possible under the right circumstances.
Looking at some of my research on that survey, I would say you have a non particpating mineral interest.

I have more info on the matter, but don't want to post it here for your privacy.

Feel free to send me a message or I can give you my email if you would like. Just so there is no confusion, I am a landman.
Please send me your email. I would like more information.
