I know they all play it close to the vest but does anyone know what Encana's outlook for 2009 is related to new rigs in the area? Rumors have them moving closer to Caddo.

12 Unit applications that I know of in S. Bossier. It is scheduled for 02-10-09.
Trying to make it, just like everyone else. It's rough.
Any indication of what Encana plans for Martin Field/Red River Parish? thanks
I think Samson Contour just put in proposals with the state to unitize 10 sections in Martin Field. Encana also has proposals to unitize there.
Hi - could you please tell me where Martin Field is? (Township, Range, section if possible)?
many thanks!
HGH, for the Haynesville Shale the Martin Field covers the following:

T13N-R8W; Sections 4, 7-9, 15-22, 27-30, 33-34
T13N-R9W; Sections 2-3, 10-15, 22-27

See the ttached for the maps with the unit applications.

Hi Les - thanks so much for the coordinates: I should have realized these would be much farther south than our concerns. We have some acreage leased to Samson in Caddo, and haven't heard a peep from them in ages. And I'm confused by what appears to be activity on Sonris in our area.....I think I'll just call them up (Samson) and ask what's doing.
Maybe a dumb question but has anyone heard of any proposed driling in S8-T13N-R8W?

Mike
Mike, no but the following well has been permitted one mile south:

EnCana, L Adcock 17 #H1 Well, Serial #238858, S17-T13N-R8W
Les, Thanks for the reply..

Mike
Probably all CV wells
B, EnCana plans to drill 52 wells (gross) in the Haynesville Shale in 2009. The EnCana/Shell JV is currently operating eight (8) drilling rigs in the play.
