The First Annual Haynesville Shale BowlingTournament Series Championship

When and where will be determined by the number of teams and the availability of lanes.

A team will consist of two people.

Teams must be signed up not later than January 23rd to be entered. Once it is determined how many teams will bowl, a time and place will be set-up probably for January 31, at Holiday Lanes.

Each player will bowl three games a piece, which will be a total of six games for the team.
The total pin count for the six games that the team bowls will determine the winner.

The cost is $5.00 per game or $15 for a total of three games. The rental for shoes is $3.50 per pair. The cost per person to enter will be no more than $18.50 or a total of $37 per team.
All lanes must be prepaid to be reserved for January 31. If you are interested or need more information please feel free to send me a message. If you would like to mail your money to my house just ask me and I'll give you my address.

You have a range??? Surely you mean as in "cattle," right?

Hussies ... hmmmm, last check they were finishing up at that day spa, going to do a little lunch & shopping, maybe get their hair done. No sweat, they've been lobbing heavy objects at men's heads for years. This won't be much different. Gonna really add some action to that tell-all book, though. Cathaus might be able to sell movie rights for an action movie to one of those new production companies here in Hollywood South.
So, they have under control do they. Right now their legs are weak and they have butter flies in their stomachs. It almost time and that makes them girls nervous. 2 hours and counting.
OK, I just got back to the computer, and I see that crap, and that is a pretty bad. I don't think I am going to be able to make it, what is that in bowling, DNF.
Dorcheat, I will reimburse you for my lane fee or whatever you are out for me and Parker, just let me know what it is and how to get it to you. I am so sorry, but my best friends brother passed away and I am trying to figure out when I have to leave to go out of town again for that. Just got off the phone with her sister and found out about arrangements, now I have to call my friend.
I am so sorry and I thought I could do it all, but it has gotten a bit overwelming here. Weekends are way too short anyway, and when there is a kink in it, damn.
Hey Cotton Top,
I will pay your lane fee if need be.You just take care of what you need to concerning your friend and their loss. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you guys and I am sorry for the sorrows that you'll are going through. Be safe and we will catch you on the next go around. Please send our condolences.
That's not a problem you just take of business and don't worry about this stuff.
You guys are too nice. I might just have to pull for you. Sorry Hussies!!!!!
It is not my immediate family, but it is amost like it. We grew up across the street from each other since we were 5 years old, just like sisters - one year apart. Of course, we live 4 hours apart now. It was her older brother, who we aggravated for years, but he would do anything for us anytime. He had open heart surgery Jan 2 and it just went down from there. You guys are the best. Love the Shaler crew more every day. Just gotta meet you one day!!!!
My condolences to the family & you as a friend, Cottontop. Family doesn't have to be immediate to feel the loss. Best to you.
Earl, I think the team you're rootin' for might need one of those special pep-em-up drinks. Give 'em all ya got, Earl. I'll pick up the tab for those. :0)
Earl,

I think you hit the nail on the head. Dorcheat sounds like he is the bowling champ of Doyline (or he is full of something or it could definitely be both). Good luck to all and wishin I could be there. Know that no matter who wins or loses, it will be a blast - I will catch up with you guys and hussies later, and that is a a shaler-hussie promise!!!!
BREAKING NEWS FROM THE TOURNAMENT - Folks, the tournament has concluded, and this reporter is just back. So, while everyone with over-inflated egos is out doing some more over-inflating at Tresjos, I'll tell you how it really was. Okay, the Doyline Doo Doo Duo did have the advantage, and were in control of their "game." Coach DCA managed to pull off a nice 200+ first game, then he & Mr. Stewart tag-teamed with each rolling 140+ second games to make their game total at about 280. After that, it was just in the bag for them, so who was counting anymore.

The Benton Brawler gave them a run for their money, but that yard work took it's toll and so he just had fun.

But I've gotta tell ya', those women soundly whupped Team Doo Doo in team spirit & sportmanship. The Karen/Ashley team graciously swapped shirts with team Doo Doo (whether this means Team DD chose to wear women's clothing is for you to imagine). All said, if all of the women's scores were added together, which I think would be only fair, I would say that the women won this tournament soundly.

For all of you who couldn't be there in person, and as evidenced by the record setting length of this thread, let it be said that everyone had a wonderful time in the good old GHS spirit, so I gave away the score sheet because it really just didn't matter. Until next time (is there really going to be a next time?) -
Your humble reporter,
sesport
Was thinking about you guys yesterday! Glad you all had fun.

Sincere condolences to CottonTop on the loss of his friends. My prayers are with you, as well.
