I like your attitude about taking what seems fair, and not worrying too much about what comes behind you. I'm hoping my little plot gives me a good return on my investment. I celebrate 20 years this fall living here on my little two acre lot in the country, it looks like it might be a good one.

As soon as somone drills a bad well close to your area the price may very well plumment; these offers are only good until they change their minds; it happened to me in the barnett shale on acreage I own there. I own acreage in bienville parish and holding strong.

I am in south bossier off Sligo road and have been approached by Chesapeake for $10,000 and acre with 25% royalty. Do you have Petrohawks contact information to see if they are interested in leasing as I know they hit a big one in Elm Grove which is just south of me. Thanks, Babs

We live on Wafer and i know a friend who received 15,000 per acre and 25 % royalty, he showed me the paperwork, and my wifes boss sold for 19000 per acre in Blanchard yesterday.,,,,long story short,,,,HOLD OUT for more!!!!! yes he is north on Bellevue and Winfield Road
