Just received my 3rd letter from Twin Cities offering 5,500 and 1/4. Trashed it like the other 2.

What is the average royalty one can expect for a 1/4 acre? I mean it can't be much. What is it, like $50 a month per well, or something like that? Does it change depending on how many wells are on the 640 acres? I am wondering if it is worth getting worked up about for such a small bit of money every month. I sure wish I had an acre or two.
Charles, Get on Randy's personal page and ask him, he's a land man. He's our "go to" guy on here, or at least mine. Somebody might help us here. I know enough to be dangerous. We won't be the Beverly Hillbillies, like Tom Dark said at one of the City meetings, but it'll be gas money. I've left several meetings wishing I had some acreage.
Charles, Kassi gives a great explanation of how royalties are figured on the thread "Being cast into a pool when no one has made you an offer seems unfair".

Get those dollar signs out of your eyes!
Not to worry---tigers have their eyes on environment 1st...
Per confirmed info: Homeowners on Overlook Drive in Southern Hills signed for $20/per acre and 25% royalty. FYI
Okay, is that twenty dollars/acre or a typo?
