Haha, yeah, yeah. I was born in Baton Rouge but all our relatives lived around Shreveport. I love 'em but don't trust 'em for restaurant recommendations : ) It's been years since I spent any time around there so thought some south loosiana cuisine might have migrated up there by now. Thanks all for the suggestions!

It's might not be the best but it's good. Ralph & Kacoos in Bossier it's right by I-20 easy access.

Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro on the boardwalk is real good, Ralph & Kacoos (blackened gator is awesome)....Shane's (youree and hwy 80)...I'm sure everyone has a take on "cajun" food.

Take a trip to Natchitoches and try "The Landing" in down town or "Mariners". I'm sorry but I disagree about the food in northwest Louisiana. There is a lot of great resturants.

1. Copeland's on Bert Kouns - Best South Louisiana food here. Large portions.
2. Don's Seafood on E. Kings Hwy. - Authentic LA food, but smaller portions, therefore pricier.
3. Ralph & Kacoo's in Bossier is also good.
