The De Soto library has the environmental impact study for some of the pipelines .They include some good maps.
VSC, which pipeline is of interest?
My area of interest is SE DeSoto, south of Mansfield, in and around Pelican.
In general, though, I notice some wells with a status of 'Waiting on Pipeline'.
It would just be nice to able to see what the general pipeline infrastructure buildout timelines look like.
I am not a local to the area so I am disadvantanged in that I can't come see and monitor for myself.
I know there are several pipeline projects underway, it would be nice to see some maps or overview plans for their progress with a bit more detail than I have seen so far.
You can't get to sales aka $$$$ in the landowner's bank if they can't get the NG out of the well.
VSC, most of the wells "Waiting on Pipeline" will be connected to small existing unregulated gathering systems. Those systems aggregate the gas for delivery to gas processing plants and/or larger downstream interstate gas sales pipelines. The smaller gathering systems are not generally shown on any publically available maps.

There have been some recent major 42" pipelines completed and additional new large pipelines proposed. Most of these pipelines run west to east across the northern edge of De Soto and Red River Parishes to the Perryville/Delhi area in Northeast Louisiana. Those projects have detailed information available regarding location and status.
Thank you.
I don't believe that Louisiana maintains any type of map of pipelines like Texas does. There are maps of the major pipelines, but not the smaller flowlines from wellheads etc.
Shame on Louisiana.
TGP / El Paso has a 42" line that runs south of Mansfield, LA.
Thank you.
Johny, I believe the Tennessee Pipeline might be a 24" rather than a 42". It is a spur line between the Carthage Hub & Tennessee's 100 Leg mainline in Natchitoches Parish.
the line that runs from carthage to natchitoches was tennessee awhile back but i think EL Paso owns it now. the line was laid in 1946 and it is a 20 inch line Buckmaster
Buckmaster, thanks for the information. It is still Tennessee Gas Pipeline but they are a subsidiary of El Paso Corporation so you are essentially correct.
