Goofy, Its hard to get a non generic answer out of shale geo! I wish he would answer your question....I have been asking him this since he started his fan club or what ever
The land in section 25 belongs to my church. They have asked me help secure a lease. My family leased 156 acres in Bienville Parish to Chesapeake. The best answer I can get concerning the Salt Domes is that all the gas was extracted years ago but the gas under neath is huge! I do not know how they go thru the salt, people do not want to address our questions concerning this subject. Please advise about the Beach Springs Meeting, who is in charge and is it a no fee? Snake is trying to get us to join his.
Thanks
Hi neighbor, some of my land is in beaver creek. I did not take your comments as knocking swamo. In my opinion, we are all in this together no matter what group we decide to join. I want everyone to be educated about this play. I don't want my neighbors to be taken advantage of. I have heard your argument before........I am sticking with swamo. A group is only as strong as it's weakest link. I wish my neigbors in beech springs group the best of luck and maybe later on the groups can join forcres trade info and learn from one another. Our goal is the same. No one has written this book yet. We are on new ground. All we have to look at is the barrnet shale. The haynesville shale is 4th largest in world...maybe bigger. The barnett shale is not even in top ten. That fact kinda hit home with me. Its scary and exciting.
On another subject........hopefully you've lived in Minden area a while and can answer this question. This area to my understanding (section 25) is called Minden field. I was questioning mineral rights for the area. Looked up mine back to '91 and looks ok but someone said might need to go back further. The well on this section was plugged/dry i beleive in 1976. You heard anything about this?
