My family has land (255 acres Claiborne Parish) and we have leased many times through the years. We also have land in Beinville Parish where we have been producing Natural Gas royalty for many many years. If I don't know the answer I will tell you.

I live on Post Oak Rd. off of Sparks Davis. Signed with Chesapeake in March for 300/acre prior to news of Shale. If you haven't signed lease yet, good. Also got 1/5 royalty which is ok. I know they are drilling all around us but don't know if any are going into the HS. Do you know?

Hi Patti I am right off of williams Rd. but I haven't been offered anything. My mother-in-law lives next door and someone showed up at her door offered her 1500 an acre for her four acres about three months ago and she took it. I haven't heard from any of my neighbors so I'm unsure of what they recieved but I was told a friend of my mothers just recieved 25,000 for 1 acre in fountain bleau. I did however call the number posted all the way down Mansfield Rd. advertising 17,500 an acre and they told me they were only leasing property that was 2 or more acres.
