fred , my parents are from hemphill: Boog Wood and Lynda Scott Wood, so where exactly is your land.

My father was J. Aldous Smith, a Methodist preacher. He was one of June Smiths sons. Our land is on Reeves Rd. just before you go into the Sabine National Forest. Millard, Tommy, Kenneth and Lamar Smiths are first cousins as is Truman Short. Dad was from Hemphill and Mom from San Augustine as were my wifes folks. She was a Beasley. The Smith family owns around 400 acres down there.
