JUST RECEIVED ANOTHER CALL THIS TIME FROM A CHESAPEAKE REP. NOT A LANDMAN REQUESTING PERMISSION TO LOOK AT MY LAND FOR A PIPELINE. INFORMED HIM WE HAVE BEEN SURVEYED RECENTLY AND WAS NOT INTERESTED UNLESS WE GOT A MINERAL LEASE. HE INFORMED ME HE WOULD TAKE IT UP WITH HIGHER UPS. WE'LL SEE

let tell you how i was approached for a pip[eline . first we were called and told its just a survey we havent decided what side of the highway they wanted to use. the first day out they had a pipeline staked and bore box if they tell you its just a survey they have already decided thats their chosen route.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
