New drill site Shreveport Blanchard HWY at Russell Road just North of Cross Lake.

I am not sure who is drilling this well at this time. This will be another interesting well to watch for North Shreveport/Blanchard area folks.

I don't know who the driller will be but I can tell you that chances are it is a Chesapeake well. Twin Cities "sewed up" the leasing in the Cooper Road area in the first leasing frenzy. It will be interesting to see what the shale is like for those of us considered Red-haired step children by the industry!
Anyone have a s-t-r for the well pad location?

This will be an Encana well. They are steady moving equipment in on the site and I expect the rig to arrive by the middle of the week.
anyone know about this permitted site. 003 17n 15w. also around cross lake. I live in the area and have not been contacted by anyone. samson is the operator or will be if they ever drill.
