The Texas RRC map is frustrating to navigate.  I made this one by merging 40+ screen captures.  It covers the area from Melrose to Milam, and Hwy 103 to Southern Shelby County including the County Line prospect. I use Firefox and it zooms easily. It's a jpeg file so use whatever program you want to zoom in.  I also labeled a few key wells.

Thanks, j garrett. That must have taken an enourmous amount of time to put together.
Thanks --I did the same thing on a smaller scale--It is very time consuming. Converted your map to an adobe file

Thanks RBH. That makes it easy for everyone to zoom in.
It took a few hours when I thought it would be 30-45 minutes. I'll be able to update this over time as more wells come online.
Very nice work, Sir.
SONRIS is so NOT easy to use that the general public has to hold classes to learn how to use it:

Thanks so much for your work on this I am trying to find on this map my property. There is a well Buckner/smith that I am part of. Do you know anything about this? It has been shut down, but they are suppose to go deeper, I think. I am in the Tutt Survey. This is all so exciting, but seems so slow.
XTO-Ducks DU #1H, 419-31537 will terminate in Clement Tutt, A-726 near the Bucker-Smith well.
XTO-Roadrunners DU #1HR, 419-31517 just finished drilling, surface location in C. Tutt, A-726
XTO-Lumberjacks DU #1H, 419-31526 and Cougars DU #1H, 419-31542 are permitted with surface locations in C. Tutt, A-726.
Devon Energy-Motley #1H, 419-31531 is drilling now, entire wellbore is in C. Tutt, A-726.
Do you know the names of the people in the unit for the ducks, roadrunners, lumberjacks? I have a lease with XTO/Hunt which goes out in July. I am wondering when we will know about another lease or if there will be one since I am in the Bucker-Smith well unit; however, it is not pumping and I have received very little.
What does it mean on the XTO ducks DU #lH will terminate in Clement Tutt, A 726 near the Bucker-Smith well? Will the landowners that were in the unit of Bucker-Smith be a part of the XTO Ducks DU #1H?
amigo 1, here are links to the two unit permits. On the permit page, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the link for the P-12 to see a list of owners in each unit. There is also a link for the unit plat on the permit page. You can compare them to see if there is any overlap in the units. I tried to upload the plats but I'm having trouble with my connection today so it didn't work. You can save the P-12 and the plat to your computer so it's easier to compare them.

Thanks so much for the information. I really don't know what I am doing on this.
I am trying to find out if I am part of another well. I am in the A-726 survey. How do I look that up? Thanks so much for everything.

The Lithium Connection to Shale Drilling

Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…
