The easiest way to zoom right to it is to go to the RRC GIS viewer, then click on "Survey/Abstract". Then in the pop-up window select your county, then input the survey # where it says "A-_____", then click "Search". Then click "Map" in the search results window. It'll take you right to it.

I am trying to find out if I am part of another well.

Find your tract on the Buckner-Smith Unit map. Then compare it to the map for the Duck DU to see if it's there. Also, compare the p-12s (owners) for each unit.

Do you know anything about the Falcon well. It is suppose to be in the A-726 survey. I cannot find out who is in that well but I think I am; however, don't know how to look up that information. Do you know when they will be starting to drill,etc. Thanks for any input you have. I heard that it will be drilled 20,000 feet.

It may not be permitted yet. I didn't find a "Falcon" well.

I intentionally used a zoom level that would show the survey numbers. Zoom out any further and that detail is lost. If you know the survey name/number and the general area you are looking for you should be able to pinpoint what you need.

That's what I am talking about J Garrett. GREAT job.
OK who is going to do Shelby County? I dont' want to be sitting around and almost finish only to have someone post it just before i finish. This is a MUST have map for the curious.

I had thought about it, but though it would take a a month and a day to complete. I hate that GIS viewer.
How long did it take and what process did you use? SOFTWARE to put it together. small download for such a large map.
Has anyone asked RCC if they already have such a map we could pick up at their office?
