Common Resources completed the Red River 257 No. 2 Well No. 1 to 16,751 feet 2.9 miles northwest of Spring Lake in the Bossierville Field. On a 24/64-inch choke the potentialed 11.304 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Bossier Shale.

Nothing yet. The IP was higher at 21mmcf than the Red River 257 #1 referenced above which IP'd at 18mmcf. The Red River 257 #2 referenced in the original post on this thread was a middle bossier completion at 11mmcf so it will be interesting to see how this one comes in after a full month to compare the two formations.

jffree---Common probably purchased the deep right of everything below the Cotton Valley ,so they are not necessary in JV but could be.
Don't know adubu but I was just reading SWN transcript and someone asked whether they might do a JV in this area... and the response was that they already had one in place. Look around page 6 in Q&A on Seeking Alpha.
The only thing I've seen in print about a JV is from 4Q-2008 announcements. Look at page 12 of this press release.
