jffree1: Thanks alot for your fossil, pardon the pun, terminology! LOL!
I think Cabot, XTO & Encana are all working together in that area.
Interesting. I knew they were working with XTO. Wonder if Cabot is about to do something with my lease? They indicated, to me, it was going to be a year or so before they drilled it. However, they were waiting to see the Blackstone production.
XTO & Cabot are sharing (co-developing) acreage, Exxon (now XTO) & Encana sharing $ and science (well logs & info)
We are trying to decide on signing the papers or not, but after reading that j garrett said $25.00 was the going rate, we are hesitant to sign now. Where did that info. come from and is that just in certain areas, mabey our area is bringing only $15.00. Would appreciate any input on this.
gloryc---steitel data has agreed to pay at least $25 last week--- suggest call them at # on your letter
I ALSO RECALL ONE OF PETROHAWK'S LAST PRESENTATIONS SHOWING SEVERAL SEISMIC SHOOTS THEY WERE GOING TO BE IN AND ONE WAS IN THE MARTINSVILLE AREA..PROBABLY WITH EOG
EOG is Seitel client they are shooting the 3-D for in Martinsville area. We sign $25 acre--sure pray the deep shale and lime looks good maybe EOG will lease or buy the deep rights or JV with operator that hold leases with no expertise to drill H deep well and drill a H shale well in area
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW BIG THE SEITEL SHOOT IS?
my impression it covers SSW part of Shelby that is SW of the Stockman or County Line Field and the western central part of Nacogdoches. Probably 6-8 mile radius of Martinsville as the center. EOG looking at deep zones of shale and lime from Hassel,Hill, and Gammage wells South to and Barton #2Hwell to the North
FYI: on seitel's website can see shoots already done west of city of Nacogdoches, and 2 called Dos Equis and Corona covering parts of shelby/san augustine and small part of Nacogdoches
