How do I find out if some minerals were leased on my mom's land?

How can i find out if someone has leased minerals of my mothers?? I can provide the survey info if someone would tell me how to find out if they have been leased by someone other than my mother

Cindy, I have a database I can look the information up on. Unfortunately, the database is for paying customers only (a very costly yearly membership due), but I would be happy to help you out as it only takes me a few minutes.

All I need to see if leases have been taken in her survey are the County and Abstract Number (ie A-359, etc.). I will be able to tell you how many leases have been filed in the last few years and if any current ones have been filed.

The land i am asking about is in Shelby County, and the Abstract Number is 784. It is 163 Acers of land and a part of the Milly White Survey.

looking in this survey but without last name do not know if your acreage leased..lot's of leases in that survey from 2001 thru 2009

This 163 Acres was my grandparents, Lawrence P and Gladys Bridges, then when my granddad passed away July 24 1966 It was left to my mom, Judy Bridges Rushing via Lawrence P Bridges's will which was probated on December 23 1966.
My sister and I think somehow this tract of land has gotten "tied up" into the "BoneHill Foundation" which was set up by Great Grandfather, W.A Bridges.
Please help me with this.

Cindy, I apologize for the late delay. I looked at this survey and can see that Chesapeake, Ellora Operating, Devon and Petrohawk have all taken leases in this particular survey (A-784, Shelby County) within the last three years.

The latest leases were taken in December of 2009 by Petrohawk.

THIS MEANS IN THE SURVEY LOCATED JUST DIRECTLY EAST OF SURVEY 784..SORRY FOR PREVIOUS TYPO...OF YOU SOUTHWESTERN ENERGY IS DRILLING A HORIZONTAL HAYNESVILLE WELL.
