I signed a lease in San Augustine County, following my family like a lemming.  I inherited my interest in the property and haven't been in the area in a couple of years.  How do I determine the physical location of the property using the survey info?  I have tried to use the online county records without success.  I am seeking assistance from a professional but haven't met with him yet.  Appreciate your patience.

There should be a survey number in the legal description printed in your lease. Example: A-234. WIth that number, you can use the Texas Railroad Commission's public GIS viewer to locate it very easily.
Thanks so much.
Another way if your survey has Lat. and Long. coordinates is to access one of the GPS sites or google "Find Lat and Longitude". Enter in your coordinates and zoom in. There are even Satelite photos available. Good luck.
