Beusa has offered 1500. per acre for about year now around the Hickory Hollow area - trying hard to get us to sign... think we will wait a while... anyone else close by had a decent offer?
BEUSA has drilled about a dozen Haynesville wells. Three horizontals, the rest verticals. Not only is their offer far below market rate, they are not an experienced horizontal driller. Look them up on SONRIS and then tell all your neighbors. I would prefer to go unleased trusting for a future opportunity than to have BEUSA drilling my wells.
BEUSA couldn't find gas with a zippo and a Centerpoint gate combination. Just my opinion supported by facts. Do not lease to anyone that is not a household name. Doyline people really messed up leasing to BEUSA with Petrahawk right around to corner. Lease money is the only money that some of these people will ever see. I keep hoping that Petrahawk, Cheasapeake, Encana, XTO, Shell, etc will buy them idiots out before they drill a well in my section. Porter Buford lied to me, another fact. Pin Oak is a joke
BEUSA has drilled the Montgomery in Webster, they have not drilled the horizontal leg, report says waiting on rig move. They have a vertical location a few sections north of the Montgomery well. I was dealing with BEUSA and Petrohawk and Petrohawk did not want to lease all of my acreage so I lease to BEUSA for a lot more than 1500.
shannon watson. Please change the title of this discussion to the correct spelling, BEUSA, so no member will overlook the thread. Members should be informed concerning Bridas Energy USA before they consider entering into a lease with them.
Pin Oak gave $6,500 per acre to most if not all of the people living in the subdivision at the end of hilman rd, well after things turned sour and lease prices started falling.
Some of that money from China pouring into Argentina funneled up to Houston then Northwest La
A good reminder that when leasing minerals prospective for the Haynesville Shale, the bonus is not the primary means of receiving income. I always think of Mr. Smith in the Kallenberg Haynesville Movie. He receives a bonus worth $1.26M but the projections of his royalty income are $225M. The old way of viewing mineral lease negotiations based on many lessors getting a bonus but never getting a well are obsolete. Those who do not do their homework and understand the consequences could very well regret going for the bonus if the lessee/operator turns out to be less than capable.
Less than capable is a gross understatement for BEUSA. The Derrick is back on the ground on Pilgrims Rest Road. A
What about the H. Montgomery well do they have the horz. rig on that well yet and has anyone heard when they will? Thanks and have a great day!
They filled the pit back in like they are settling in for a long winters nap. One landowner for that whole section. His decision to go with BEUSA at a whopping $200 per acre x 640 acres will most likely be the only money he will ever see. Good thing old fashion ass whuppin's went out of style huh. I can only imagine what a huge circle that landman drives to avoid that fellow.
What does it mean "The Derrick is back on the ground on Pilgrims Rest Road"? I'm unleased on Pilgrim Rest Road but I believe the majority of our unit is leased with BEUSA. The last offer I recieved was 12000/acre the weekend the bottom dropped out last year. The only contact I've had with O&G was an offer to pay 25.00/acre to do seismography. I'm of the mind to pass on this as I've not even signed a lease? What will happen if we go unleased? Some of you sound as if you are in favor of being unleased? Lots of questions as there seems to be more activity around Doyline now.
