We have all heard people say they would go to Europe, buy a new car, buy a new house, etc. But if you hit it "big" what would you do "GOOD"? I don't mean the aforementioned trivial but fun items. I am asking about ideas that folks have that would impact others not just yourself or your family. Also not the usual non-profits. If you were going to establish one, what would it be. If your life would change so significantly. Wouldn't you want to do something significant with your life?

I totally agree with you Rozzy we just seem to look over the wisdom in this world. My best friend is 80 years old and I am in my 40's. They have so much to teach if we would only listen. I think anyone that abuses them should be put away FOREVER.
Hello , H.I.M.

With you being ever so slightly elder to me , I will certainly do my part to try and keep an eye on you in your later years. That sure is a big fiddle in your pic !hahahaha

I Wuv u Wisa!
Thank you Snake I will need all the help I can get and I wuv u Too
As long as you promise to look after me as well! Women do age much better then us men.
I totally agree with you Hi, It's me. So much wisdom from the elderly. I enjoy visiting those living in the nursing facilities and just listen to the stories of yesteryear. I am caring for my dad (89-years-old) but it tickles me to hear him talking about hamburgers costing only $0.5 a piece.

But I ditto you in saying; "I think anyone that abuses them should be put away FOREVER."

Thank you
i wish i could help people get trained at the educational center for the natural gas car conversion
also , toyato is reintroducing their car
i would help establish the natural gas home dispenser to help everyone become natural gas
dependent
this would help our economy by supplying jobs immed
our infrastructure is there, for the delivery of the natural gas but we have not got the mechanics
with this in mind we could lower transportation and food costs
also, by converting the shreveport vehicles we could balance the budget at the shreveport office which
is 8 million short and they are facing cuts
It sounds like your father embraced the saying,
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day,
Teach a man to fish and he will eat for his life.

Any organization that gives a hand up instead of a hand up is worthy of an investment of our time and money.
Robert, this is a great story about your Dad. He was an admirable man to say the least. His philosophy on money and people was right on. It doesn't do anyone any good to make them into a slave of the system. Most people, if given the chance, will feel good about themselves when they are able to stand on their own two feet. My hat's off to you and your Dad. I'm sure he has a great place now and probably still in his khaki's! God Bless
