Went by US 96 near Shelby co line and saw a lot of activity on what I believe the XTO Bronco well to be pipe laying in ditch all the way to Bland Lake road. How is this different from Fossil's Bronco well? Also saw activity at St. Mary's Lewis well. Also saw land clearing beside existing N/S pipeline that runs by St. Mary's USA well. Lots of activity going on.

I'm going from memory here but I believe the Fossil-Bronco was a permit for a James Lime well that never was drilled. They sold to XTO who permitted the Broncos DU with HA target. Fossil had built the pad though. Someone will correct me if that isn't exactly the way it happened.
I saw the pipe next to 96 on Thursday when I went through there. I wondered if it was pulling fresh water from the lake? Anybody have a guess or opinion?
what servery is this in i think it next to me or in the same one . Is it 139
Broncos is east of you and east of 96 just below the Shelby line.
Thanks jffree i guess they will drill it sooner or later
Looks like this well is about to be completed. I'll try to keep an eye on the RRC completions or someone let us know if something has been released.

They have both been completed for some time now. XTO has a numerous wells in the "pending" production status but XTO is still mailing in paper completion reports instead of using the online reporting system. RRC then has to have someone key everything into the new system so that everyone who has to can work on the reports at the same time. That's why the status is "work in progress". Needless work and not an efficient use of manpower or money. The new system was supposed to reduce the time it takes to get a completion through the various RRC departments and get the well approved for an allowable. XTO and a few other "notables" are resisting change, it appears.
BRONCOS DU 1H

5.562 MMCF/DAY
43217.40 - 24 Hr. Coeff. Orif. or Choke
907 - Static P or Choke Press

Is this really cut back due to pipeline constraints or somthing?

17.740 MMCF/DAY Absolute Open Flow
19/64" Choke
8118 PSIA Shut it
6613 PSIA Flow

Can someone explain the 24 hr Coeff Orif. #? I understand 19/64" but don't understand the amount of choke when it goes to the coeff. #?

Not sure if this is a good well or not? 17.7 sounds good. 5.5 not so much.

Thanks for any help!
It averaged just under 10.0 MMcfd in July and August. It is a decent well but one of the industry types will have to explain the coefficient. That reported IP is slightly misleading, IMO. The well was completed in late June and they didn't test it until October 19...
Thanks. Where did you find the July and August flow rates? I couldn't find anything? From all the stuff you post on here you must be grabbing SCADA radio signals or something! Just kidding. Have a good one!
JJ, production for the Broncos well is still "pending" in that the completion reports have not been approved and a Lease ID assigned for a well allowable. If you will look in the group "RRC of Texas Help Center", I have explained how to access pending production figures.
