BLEEP BLEEP - CALL THE ENVIRONMENTAL POLICE - WARNING, WARNING!!!
so what does this mean? they have no clue where the perferations are? does this mean in the verticle portion or horizontal portion?
olddog, I suspect that the perfs are in the lateral since the well is completed and flowing to sales but that is strictly a guess on my part. Samson Contour has been a difficult operator to judge since the beginning of the Play. They have completed so few horizontal Haynesville wells. Maybe one of the members with drilling experience can shed some light on whether this is a rare event or one that happens to all operators at one time or another. I do not recall an instance similar here in the Haynesville.
i have been told those perf charges are EXTREMELY sensitive. it is easy to rationalize a miss fire, but not knowing where it happened? puff, puff, pass... on the job???
i do appreciate the honesty in the report though...it 's kind'a funny !

Yeah, I thought it was humorous, kj. However I would not find it chuckle worthy if I was a Working or Royalty Interest.
yea skip, your right about that ! i assumed since the well has since been properly perf'd and is in production, that the missfire must have been identified and repaired.
kj
I think I just saw a hole in the side of my house.
Damn you Scuba Sampson......
Would some explain to me what the term WELL POTENTIALED mean?
