Recently had offer of lease for 31 acres in the J.A. Chireno survey from a company called Southern English. First of all I am only now beginning to learn a little bit about the mineral leases, second I have never heard of this company. I know this seems to be a pretty active area right now. The offer was $500 per acre and 1/5 royalties. Anyone have any info on this company? Also I really don't think it is a wise decision to take the first offer, although we haven't had any offers yet. I anticipate that we will have more offers and my thoughts are that another company will offer more. Thanks in advance for info! Also the company says they currently have leases in Shelby County and are just beginning to make offers in Nac.
