NJ, it is just a matter of time before activity picks up in your area as some of the operators' maps show that T9N-R13W should be productive in both the Haynesville Shale and Bossier Shale formations.

Is there any drilling in this township at this time?

One.  Chesapeake has a Trinidad rig that has been drilling for 34 days as of last Friday.  Whitney  6-9-13H, Section 6.  The new weekly rig reports come out tomorrow.

Sections 17,28,33 or proposed units. (Exxon mobil)

Yeah, Exxon Mobil and Chesapeake have both applied for a HA Unit order for Section 33.  That should be interesting.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
