Thanks.....I wanted to place an ad, but I couldn't find any specifics....just contact info. So I figured that I would share this with people with the same interest that I have. Heck, I'm about to sell this  to a wholesaler who's going to turn around and jack up the price for you guys....so I thought I'd give someone a shot at it...win/win for this board. Oh well, if it's taken off, that's the way it goes. But I still see it as positive thing for this group

The owner of this site caught one of my postings that had a sort of advertisement in it and called me on it. I appreciated him taking out that part of my post and reposting it. At the time he said that there was another part to this site that is used for advertising but I can't find where he said that was. He may be contacting you on this and will most likely tell you where you can post your advertisements.........Bill

PLEASE GENTLEMEN:  This site is not to set up a friendly conversation between new buddies... It is about transfering possibly helpful information to people interested in Shale Production...

The reason why this site has been a success in moving information is, in part, because of members willingness to make the site about info and not promotion of their own minerals and land. The site is not meant to be, and will not be, one gigantic billboard. It's been that way for 2 1/2 years. We do offer advertising and if someone can't send an email inquiring, their interest is likely very low. That's been my observation.

So please delete your solicitation and let's make the site about networking and information.

I am new to this site and have read most of the 55 pages except about the snakes and new friends and selling shares stuff. Honestly a lot of it goes right over my head!!  I have mineral rights in the Burkley-Phillips #1 and just want to learn ALL that I can.  I heard that a stainless steel casing is being made for the well in Japan.   I have NO idea of the percent of percent of percent of percent or how meaningful it may be that I have.  I would like to know when production starts how long does it typically takes to calculate numbers or estimate production amounts, etc.  Just as Phillips family Burkley is generations of waiting for the Big One!  Hope and pray this is it!!

Welcome, Ms. Kitt Burkley.

         I suspect that the stainless steel tubing, being specifically produced as you heard, is to resist any corrosive gases during production. My suspicion is carbon dioxide. A friend of mine had to do that to a well over in So. LA for the same reason.

 

As Skip had mentioned earlier, and a lot of us presume, diligent effort towards production will begin once the spring flood season has passed.

 

When production is established, you will get a "division order" from the gas purchaser which will list your interest, address on file from lease abstract work and it will ask you to sign and verify your tax information for reporting to the IRS, etc. (Skip, please correct me where I may ere as I am used to stuff in So. AR. Thanks!) Sign it and return to the address shown and wait for your first check.

Thank you for the welcome!  Is it common up closer than 22,000 ft that natural gas and/or oil may be discovered as well?  My understanding is they have information from the core analysis but are also waiting from results for logging?? And that cross referencing the two will validate.   I also read what was written regarding the BCF and that it is actually calculated to a smaller amount when all is said and done but is that still a lot?  lucrative?  commercial?  More or less in comparison to Haynesville Shale in Bossier Parish?  Thanks much for all the help in layman's terms.
