I was just visited by Goodrich rep to inform me they wanted to do a seismic survey on my land. Not sure what this entails since the minerals are already under lease to Sonerra (and they in turn have a deal with EOG for  the shale at deeper depth. The  payment is to be $10 per acre. This same outfit is working in Angelina county as well. Anyone else been contacted by them?

Always good to read your updates. BTW have you seen any activity north/west of Lone Wolf in the adjacent 18 acre parcel (Flores survey)?  It's probably too far off of 21 to see anything but I was curious. I had some inquiries awhile back from two landmen regarding title so figured EOG might be looking at it. Our lease expires in Sept.
Two recent Haynesville Completions just north of V Flores 31 survey by EOG--Lilly #1H and Billy #1H..might see how they are doing

Ben,

Seismic is very important when it comes to drilling, when they do seismic they can locate where the most oil/gas can be produced from. It prevents dry holes, which is good for every mineral or royalty owner. Global is a very good company that does alot of SPEC shoots which mean their projects are multi client. So whoever your leased to more than likely has something to do with the seismic shoot. Which will help them out on if they should drill on your property of not. I strongly believe in seismic and I understand that they money isn't very much but, you might be able to squeeze another $5 out of them.

Ben--- there are several thread on seismic on these site suggest look review them --- the avg rate for easement to shot 3-D is $25 per acre
