The Boon-Owens Gas Unit 1 Well No. 1 will be drilled by O'Ryan Oil and Gas in the Nan-Su-Gail (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well will hit 12,400 feet 13.5 miles northeast of Fairfield in the W.L. Mann Survey, A-461. The well may be drilled in a wildcat field.
Harrison County
The Winston Heirs Well No. 3H will be drilled to 11,900 feet 6.5 miles southeast of Karnack in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field in the F. Fuller Survey, A-8.
Houston County
Navidad Resources will drill the Garrison Well No. 1 to 13,000 feet 11 miles southwest of Lovelady in a wildcat field the well is in the G. Badillo Survey, A-4.
Johnson County
Devon Energy will drill five wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.
The Fincher-Howard (SA) Well No. 1H is 10.1 miles northeast of Cleburne in the S. Myers Survey, A-626.
The Mayfield Well No. 4H is 13.4 miles northeast of Cleburne in the J.W. Henderson Survey, A-376.
The Ahmet Uysaler Well No. 4H is 9.7 miles northeast of Cleburne in the W.S. Craddock Survey, A-133.
The Ahmet Uysaler Well No. 5H is 9.7 miles northeast of Cleburne in the D. Eveens Survey, A-249.
The Mayfield Well No. 5H is 13.4 miles northeast of Cleburne in the J.W. Henderson Survey, A-376.
Leon County
Dallas Production will drill the Shelby Smith "A" Well No. 2 to 7,600 feet 15.7 miles northeast of Centerville in a wildcat field. This well is in the S.B. Marshall Survey, A-13.
In a lease 2.2 miles northeast of Jewett in the Jewett (Travis Peak) Field, the Helmcamp Well No. 4 will be drilled by BRG Lone. The well will hit 10,500 feet in the T.J. Shaw Survey, A-789 and may be drilled in a wildcat field, the Jewett (Pettit) Field or the Branton (Rodessa) Field.
XTO Energy will drill the Red Ranch Gas Unit Well No. 1 to 16,800 feet 3.8 miles north of Marquez in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well is in the J.H. Barefield Survey, A-76 and may be drilled in the Bear Grass (Pettit or Travis Peak) Fields
Marion County
The Rowell Well No. 1 will be drilled three miles northwest of Jefferson in the Kellyville (Hill Lime) Field. This well will be drilled by Machin & Associates to 6,300 feet in the M. Reed Survey, A-328.
The well may be drilled in the Rodessa (Nugent) Field, the Rodessa-Jeff Area (Dees Young) Field, the Rodessa (Gloyd) Field, a wildcat field, the Rodessa (Hill South) Field, the Nita Dees Field, the Rodessa (Hill North) Field, the Rodessa (Henderson) Field, the Nita (Neugent) Field or the Rodessa (Mitchell) Field.
Panola County
Chevron U.S.A. will drill the Julia Whitfield Unit Well No. A 3H to 16,000 feet 2.3 miles southwest of Beckfille in the Carthage (Travis Peak 6400) Field. This well is in the T.M. Scott Survey, A-594.
Anadarko E&P will drill four wells to 12,000 feet.
The CGU 8 Well No. 52HH and the CGU 8 Well No. 53HH are 4.4 miles southwest of Carthage in the U.J. Longacre Survey, A-403.
The CGU 12 Well No. 52HH is 5.1 miles northwest of Carthage in the W.A. Lagrone Survey, A-390.
These three wells are in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field.
The S. Gary Well No. 4H is 11.2 miles southwest of Carthage in the T. Applewhite Survey, A-38 in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field.
Sabine County
The Dome Fed GU SLB Well No. 1H will be drilled by Chesapeake Operating to 18,000 feet 5.1 miles southeast of Patroon in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the H. Cartwright Survey, A-83.
Tarrant County
Chesapeake Operating will drill nine wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.
The Regency West Well No. 1H is 2.1 miles southeast of Mansfield in the E. McAnier Survey, A-105.
The Pruett Mountain Well No. 5H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the J. Wheat Survey, A-1678.
The Wedgewood Well No. 2H, the Wedgewood Well No. 3H, the Wedgewood Well No. 4H and the Wedgewood Well No. 5H are 8.1 miles southwest of Fort Worth in the J.W. Williams Survey, A-1599.
The Little Well No. 1H and the TRWD Bend Well No. 3H are within the city limits of Fort Worth in the B.F. Crowley Survey, A-307.
The Loop Well No. 5H is 1.4 miles northeast of Westland in the J.W. Oxford Survey, A-1201.
The East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field will see XTO Energy drill eight wells to 12,000 feet.
The McEstates Unit Well No. 1D is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the BBB&C RR Co. Survey, A-201.
The Edwards Benbrook Unit Well No. 5H and the Edwards Benbrook Unit Well No. 11H are within the city limits of Benbrook in the J. Cambo Survey, A-362.
The TRWD Hearne Unit Well No. 7H and the TRWD Hearne Unit Well No. 13H are 4.8 miles northeast of Azle in the MEP&P RR Co. Survey, A-1141.
The Mc Estates Unit Well No. 2D are within the city limits of Fort Worth in the BBB&C RR Co. Survey, A-201.
The Hearne Whittenton Unit Well No. 8H is 4.8 miles northeast of Azle in the MEP&P RR Co. Survey, A-1141.
The TRWD Hearne Well No. 5H is 4.8 miles northeast of Azle in the MEP&P RR Co. Survey, A-1141.
COMPLETIONS
Freestone County
XTO Energy has completed four new wells. The first two wells were completed in the Teague Field.
On a 30/64-inch choke the Dowell Gas Unit Well No. 2 potentialed 2.170 million cubic feet of gas. This well hit 12,420 feet three miles north of Teague.
The Kirsch Gas Unit Well No. 27 hit 12,003 feet 5.2 miles and potentialed 3.339 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke.
The next two wells were completed in the Freestone Field.
The C.C. Thompson Gas Unit Well No. 31 hit 13,125 feet 8.9 miles of Teague and potentialed 1.421 million cubic feet of gas on a 14/64-inch choke.
The C.C. Thompson Gas Unit Well No. 34 hit 13,155 feet nine miles southeast of Teague and potentialed 2.296 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.
Harrison County
On a 18/64-inch choke the Jonesville Well No. 2 potentialed 40,000 cubic feet of gas. Exco Operating completed the well to 9,542 feet one mile east of Jonesville in the Jonesville Field. Production is in the Travis Peak 5940 formation.
Berry Oil completed the Doyh-Mekh GU 1 Well No. 1H to 16,340 feet 9.6 miles south of Marshall in the Carthage Field. On a 17/64-inch choke the well potentialed 10.611 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Valence Operating completed the Jordan Well No. 3 to 11,935 feet 13 miles south of Marshall in the Carthage Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 777,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Anadarko E&P completed two wells in the Carthage Field.
On a 12/64-inch choke the Leourneau Gas Unit 7 Well No. 29HH potentialed 3.996 million cubic feet of gas. This well is 15.8 miles southwest of Marshall.
On a 14/64-inch choke the Letourneau Gas Unit 7 Well No. 52HH potentialed 2.796 million cubic feet of gas. This well is 16.8 miles southwest of Marshall. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
NFR Energy completed the Rollie Sims Deep GU Well No. 2H to 16,165 feet five miles west of Darco in the Carthage Field. On a 22/64-inch choke the well potentialed 4.657 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Devon Energy completed the Abney 1215-Abney A (Allocation) Well No. 9H is to 15,518 feet 4.7 miles southwest of Waskom in the Waskom Field. On a 52/64-inch choke the well potentialed 6.649 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Johnson County
Chesapeake Operating completed six wells in the East Newark Field.
The Gearhart Well No. 4H is 9.9 miles north of Cleburne and hit 11,850 feet. The well potentialed 3.165 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
The Gearhart Well No. 5H hit 11,800 feet 9.9 miles north of Cleburne and potentialed 3.534 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
The Gearhart Well No. 6H hit 11,860 feet 9.9 miles north of Cleburne and potentialed 3.563 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
The Gearhart Well No. 7H hit 12,325 feet 9.9 miles north of Cleburne and potentialed 3.571 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
The Turnbow Well No. 2H hit 13,211 feet within the city limits of Cleburne and potentialed 2.968 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.
The S. Mann Well No. 19H hit 10,745 feet 3.3 miles northwest of Cleburne and potentialed 2.075 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
The East Newark Field has seen XTO Energy complete a new well. The Gery Smith Unit Well No. A 2H hit 10,837 feet 4.7 miles southeast of Burleson. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.736 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Leon County
Gastar Exploration completed the Gastar Williams Well No. 2 to 8,825 feet 6.9 miles northwest to Ridge in the Hilltop Resort Field. This well flowed with 53 barrels of crude, no choke size was recorded. Production is in the Glen Rose 8498.
Panola County
The Glassell Producing completed the C.O. Christian Heirs Unit Well No. 9 to 8,071 feet 8.2 miles northeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 475,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak.
Exxon Mobil completed the BS Broderick GU 2 Well No. 6H to 15,616 feet 8.5 miles southeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On a .25-inch choke the well potentialed 4.097 million cubic feet of gas in the Haynesville Shale formation.
In a lease six miles (northwest) of Beckville, in the Carthage Field, the Young Grace GU Well No. 2H was completed to 15,816 feet by NFR Energy. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 8.011 million cubic feet of gas in the Haynesville Shale.
D90 Energy completed the Crump Gas Unit Well No. 1A to 9,760 feet five miles southwest of Carthage in the East Bethany Field. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 41,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Rusk County
The Landon Well No. 6 hit 10,950 feet 5.3 miles southeast of Henderson in the Minden Field. This well was completed by El Paso E&P. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 238,000 cubic feet of gas in the Travis Peak Consolidated.
On a 14/16-inch choke, the March-Dickey Gas Unit Well No. 1 potentialed 196,000 cubic feet of gas. O'Ryan Oil and Gas completed the well to 11,843 feet two miles northeast of Mt. Enterprise in the Trawick Field. Production is in the Jurassic.
San Augustine County
Devon Energy completed the J. Sublett GU Well No. 2H to 12,874 feet 3.5 miles east of San Augustine in the Angie Field. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.121 million cubic feet of gas (and 300 Bbl condensate). Production is in the James Lime.
Crimson Exploration completed the Blue Well No. 1H to 18,500 feet 1.2 miles south of San Augustine in the Carthage Field. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 8.466 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
On a 26/64-inch choke the Greer SU Well No. 1H potentialed 20.761 million cubic feet of gas. Exco Operating completed this well to 20,090 feet six miles northeast of Chireno in the Carthage Field. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Exco Operating completed the York SU Well No. 1H to 18,651 feet in the Carthage Field to 18,651 feet 4.8 miles northeast of Chireno. On a 24/64-inch choke the well potentialed 17.565 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
In a lease seven miles southeast of San Augustine, in a wildcat field, the Black Stone Rebecca Well No. F1SN was completed by Harding Co. to 13,375 feet. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.257 million cubic feet of gas .
Shelby County
XTO Energy completed the Gators DU Well No. 1H to 19,119 feet four miles southeast of Shelbyville in the Carthage Field. On a 15/64-inch choke the well potentialed 6.743 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
XTO Energy completed the Cardinals DU Well No. 1H to 17,894 feet 5.9 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the Carthage Field. On a 15/64-inch choke the well potentialed 9.350 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Tarrant County
Chesapeake Operating has completed nine wells in the East Newark Field.
The Birdville ISD Well No. 3H hit 10,417 feet within the city limit of North Richland Hills and potentialed 3.745 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
The Summer Creek Well No. 7H hit 10,011 feet 10.8 miles southwest of Fort Worth and potentialed 4.112 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
The TCCD South Well No. 1H hit 14,917 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 6.298 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
The Keep A Steppin North Well No. 3H hit 11,916 feet 4.5 miles northeast of Mansfield and potentialed 6.249 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.
The Duke Unit A Well No. 4H hit 11,295 feet 1.4 miles south of Arlington and potentialed 4.783 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.
The Duke Unit A Well No. 6H hit 11,445 feet 1.4 miles south of Arlington and potentialed 5.456 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.
The Duke B Well N.5H hit 11,283 feet 1.4 miles south of Arlington and potentialed 2.384 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.
The Rock Creek Well No. C 2H hit 11,335 feet 13.8 miles southwest of Fort Worth and potentialed 2.882 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
The Rock Creek Well No. C 8H hit 10,155 feet 12.5 miles southwest of Fort Worth and potentialed 3.458 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
The East Newark Field has seen XTO Energy complete a new well. The Litografia Well No. B 4H hit 10,278 feet 4.5 miles southwest of Haslet. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.605 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Wood County
In a lease 12.5 miles southeast of Quitman in the Pine Mills Field the Second Sub-Clkvle Form. Unit Well No. 311 was drilled by Buccaneer Operating to 8,130 feet. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed seven barrels of crude. Production is in the Sub-Clarksville.
