103bopd at it's best over 24hrs.

Also 1009bowd and 200mcfd.

SWN said they targeted to lower third of the bd with the roberson and the upper third with the Garret. The Garret supposedly had better perm and a better oil show.

Page 13, specifically.

Well, at least this production is in the ballpark where Mueller had said earlier he thought they could, by tweaking, make the well economic. I take it that all of the water being produced is frac water, as he said earlier they had not seen any formation water.

A short lateral and production from 8 of 11 stages sounds like plenty of room for improvement.  As I have stated previously I think the next two wells will be more representative of LSBD potential.

Skip, i agree, it's going to take some more wells to see if this play is going to work out. SWN had to report something today like they said they were going to. What they reported was more of a "wet blanket" in my opinon than it was "lighter fluid". Like you said, lots of room for improvment with how they completed the well also. Its going to be a long summer waiting to see if they can improve results enough to make the brown dense a money maker or just a bad bet.

About what I expected after what Mueller said... I think they will make it work but it will have much smaller "sweet spots" that you will need to be in to be productive.

"the water being produced is frac water"

I assume since the press release says 45% injected returned. Doesn't the well usually start to produce a little better after all of the frac fluid returns?

Gas wells usually do I think that production will improve as the well unloads frac water.

MMcNeil,

Thanks for the  LSBD info.  Have Lots of Kinfolks/Family in Union Parish, LA.

Good Luck.

wow.

four year payout asuming $100 oil and no decline. If these wells decline like other resource plays they better do much better.

These are the main things that I got from the conference call.

They when to the lower portion of the BD in Roberson well for fear of fracking into the water zone but found the frack only went up 100 – 150 feet.  Will take a while longer to get frack water out and see what well is capable of.  Only small amount of H2S and a little CO2.

On first well in LA, went up in he formation because they knew it was better rock and no longer feared fracking into the water zone.  Had  some oil coming up with the drilling mud.  Formation gets thicker going east.

The Wesson/Junction City well will not be drilled this year because it is too close to the Cabot well and have agreement to get data from Cabot.

Five wells in 2012 for a total of six.  Location for wells 4, 5, and 6 not finalized yet

Laterals have gone from 3600 feet 0n first well to 6700 feet on second well and plan 9000 on well three.  The number of frack stages will go up as the laterals get longer.  Fracking on the Garret should begin about March 1.
