I know that when the choke on a gas well is 64/64, the valve is wide open.

When they go to an "80 choke", what does that mean, and why go to it? (I'm familiar

with artichoke's.........sorry about that.) Any info or correction will be appreciated.

Have a good Tuesday, gang.

SONRIS refers to an adjustable choke as 80 choke.
