No 'Snoopy' flight today. It may be a week before I can get time to fly the Champ - low & slow.

The Crockett airport (KDKR) has been installing a self-service fuel tank. Apparently got it installed, purchasing went to order av fuel only then realizing they were going to pay over $4/gallon. The minimum gallon order and unit cost exceeded the limit of expenditure allowed without Houston County Commissioners Authorization, needing posting on agenda, then Comm court meeting.

Once they have fuel available I can spend more than 30 minutes Snooping the oil sites. I will have local refueling 15 minutes away and therefore can snoop for 2 hours, refuel at KDKR and fly back to Conroe.

Will get back on STATION soon. Snoopy

Snoopy needs locations of specific readers interest of well sites within 10 miles of Pennington, TX or Lovelady TX. Please send Well Site name, approximate location from closes town or community, in miles - as the crow flies.

Snoopy's specific interest is:

1st Lovelady, TX, 1 mile east of TX19, 1 mile south of FM1280 approx 100 acres leased, 5,000 feet from recent well completion- LEASED.

2nd area is FM1280 east of Lovelady and 1 mile south of intersection with FM1309 , approximately 350 acres- LEASED.

3rd area is near Holly, TX, 2 miles east of Holly, TX, then 1 mile north of FM1280 on the Houston-Trinity county line, 19,000 feet southwest of XTO's Revolver well site approx 680 acres-NOT LEASED,

Advise specifics of your nearby area interest with at least a site pad construction, or more in place. I will try to get aerial photos of the well site, plus nearby visual references.

Very few person have the resources, means and $$ necessary get specific aerial photos. 

I'll work them in IF CLOSE ENOUGH to my 3 listed areas without reimbursement - in other word FREE.  Snoopy

I'm interested in the Walker County wells - SM's New Horizon and EOG True Grit.  That sounds a bit outside the flight path..

No news on Penny Lane

Leor Forestar continues to produce at a moderate rate

Couldn't find revolver on the last production data qurry I ran, but I may have messed up something on that

Abbey Road - I'm not aware of any news.

thanks dbob, my dad was from Pennington and my mother from Apple Springs.My mother was born in Centralia. Both parents had mineral royalty from their parents which makes Trinity County interesting to me. I have lived last 70 yrs. in Corsicana.

dbob, Horizon 1H was completed at the end of July. It looks like SME is probably naming a new field (see production) that does not show up on the RRC Field query yet. No indication what the formation is but from depths on G-1 it is AC or just below.

True Grit has a 'well record only' W-2 which says that it has not been completed to production and will be used as an observation well (on True Grit 1H). 1H has a spud date of 6-20-13 and DH can look at his rig report to see when/if it fell off the report. It may still be drilling, knowing EOG, because they take all the time they need to get it right.
