I did not know Jesus had "constituents"..I always thought he gave us freewill to choose our manner of life..in otherwords we make our own bed. You did use one good word.."teach." teach and take have opposite meanings. Jesus was against thieves. How do you explain the government's right to "take" from others and re-distribute to another. Likewise, the gospel is interpreted that it is for all to seek communion with God..it is there for all ..poor and rich alike..etc.

Thus the "Give to Caesar what is Caesars, Give to G_D what is G_Ds" passage.
Taxation and the Christian. I'll give you a break now lol but as you can see, when you get your information from a limited number of outlets that you only agree with (i.e. Fox News) then your looking through a very limited eye-piece.

the limited "eye piece" that you are referring to is it from the passage "remove the plank from thy own eye before removing the splinter from your neighbor's"?

Thanks for the break..conversing with the crevace of emptiness does make one hungry..hey I'm up for a burger and I have my own money to pay for it..great!

BTW...the passage you use "Ceasar" was actually the catalyst to keep Church and state separate..nothing about Christians being taxed to give to the poor..taxation was to meant to help the country operate internally..not externally.

I gave you credit for understanding that Our foundng fathers established the fabric of our country and constitution on Christianity. The passage you used which seems to be the only one you quote has been used as a basis for the formation of our firts amendment. I do not ibtend to give you a us history lesson.

The "Give to Caesar" passage was not written at the time, nor implied to be Separation of Church and State lol. Secondly, this is the only passage I needed to rebuff this:

Seemingly, you are missing the target (this will be over your head but you are sinning..look up the word before you attack me) Give, give, give all you want..that is voluntary but using force to impose a duty on someone else is wrong. Responsibility does have a purpose.

Easttexas.....the passage you refer to was not written by Jesus by authored by someone, a disciple, that recorded it as biblical record. Jesus never wrote anything...he did draw a fish symbol in the sand which is out symbol for Christianity....actually I like this ramming my head into the wall thing.

and again actually you are wrong...for someone using the bible it is easily understood that Pilate was scared to crucify Jesus as there would be a jewish uprising against Rome whom was not to get involved in Jewish religious squabbles and he "washed his hands" of Jesus' crucifixion. The Rabbi's likewise force Pilate's hand by having Barrabas released and Jesus crucified for a crime that at that tme was not punishable by death. Rome did not want to get entangled in Jewish law and customs.
