Even with all of the bad news it was exciting hearing all of the blasting over the last few days. About every 15 minutes you could hear the blasting in the Providence Road area. How long after this do they know something and start drilling. This is the second time they have done this over the last six months.

Herman,

CGG Veritas did a second round, 59 mile, 3D Seismic survey on our 255 acres last year. Unfortunately it was completed right before the downward spin of Natural Gas and Oil prices. CGG Veritas said it takes 2-3 months to get the results back and whoever (in our case Petrohawk) requested the survey would be in contact with us. We know the results are in...so we are still waiting on the phone to ring from any company willing to make a deal. Good luck to you.

Hope this helps,

i read all over this web site and it would seem everybody has seismic testing going on with differant companies in differant locations. as it has been explained to me , the results of these studies will be combined like a patch work quilt and then sold to the highest bidder. i beleive all these companies doing the seismic have been contracted by one company out of houston and eventually will be compiled into a single comprehensive report for the entire play.
word to the wise...........
stay out of the pool while seismic blasting is going on... it creates quite a concussion under water!!!!
