Dawson flags and stakes on property near Trinidad #104 Chespeake rig

Today we visited our property off Pierce Rd and Day road (Desoto Parish east of 191, south of Hwy 84). Located across the section line from Trinidad #104 east of Day rd. We were surprised to find a trail of orange flags through our timber property, which is located is Sec.24 T11N R16W. There are orange streamers marked DAWSON and dark blue and white flags. There are stakes with D SL2330 written on them. Does anyone know who DAWSON is and does anyone have an opinion what this might indicate. Thanks for any and all replies.

The flagging is for a 3-D geophysical survey that is currently in the recording phase. Chesapeake would be the client and Dawson Geophysical is the contractor. Have you not signed a surface permit? The permit would be under Cajun Exploration.
Yes, we signed a surface permit with Cajun, but did not know that Dawson was connected. They were supposed to contact us prior to accessing our property. Thanks for helping and replying. Now we know.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
