I was told by Petrohawk that Township 19 in Webster Parish was as far north of I-20 that was being leased. Has anyone leased in Township 19?

Township 19 wwalt B2. Assume if you will Tim, they haven't tested yet.
I heard a rumor that someone negotiated the testing with the landowners, then did not produce the funds--so, no testing has been carried out as yet. Any truth to that?
I know one person that complained because they ruined her pond by punching hole where they weren't supposed to have.
I see that on July 24th a co called TOWER HILL ENERGY CO LLC leased some property in 19-9 and 18-9 and 19-10. Anyone know anything about them?
Flippers. Issued some bad paper around here. Doyline area.
Thanks, I haven't heard from them, but know they leased 818 acres some of which adjoins my property in 19-9. They seem to be most active in TR 20 17-9 but once I saw the lease next to me, I wanted to know more about them.
It never ceases to amaze me that people still are not labeling their acreage they are talking about properly. In order for some on this site to understand you have to call out three distincly different geographic call signs; they are:
1) The section you are in
2) The Township and direction you are in; example: T 4 N (Township 4 North)
3) The Range you are in; example R 3 E (Range 3 East)
By all means cite the Parish you are in also as a quick reference

If I say I am in Sec. 3 T4 this means absolutely nothing to most everybody;
Sec. 3, T16N, R10W; Bienville Parish (Man this is impecable)
If you are talking to me this is the Webster Parish Network and the thread is T 19 Therefore 9 would likely be 9W. BUT if it needs to be spelled out 19N-9W. and in several sections they are leasing.
Mike Wilson, My son....You are lost man....Please find the correct network and take your attitude with you..thank you!
Does anyone know if the ex-ammunition plant property has been leased?
Some of the land has been leased I believe around horseshoe but I will have to double check my source again. He may have said that it was coming up in a sealed bid due out shortly.
Snake,

We do know some land was leased across from the old Barbara's Backporch. It leased for $4000 an acre. My husband talked directly to the landowner, so I know this is correct. I believe they had either already gotten their money or would in the next week or so. They had health issues and medical bills and I think this was an acceptable offer to them in their time of need.
