Does anybody understand what this deal is that Chk is doing now with this sale that includes the "10 yr, 100 percent fixed-fee gathering agreement. Something with a purchase of 200 mi. of gas pipeline in Desoto & Caddo includes Springridge area. Chk has shown themselves to be untrustworthy in my dealings. I also know that they purchased a nice lodge and park area in Kingsville, OK right on Lake Texoma. Chk said they would develop it into something great which the town didn't have the funds to do to that high of level, so they sold it to CHK. 4 years later, it is a disaster and eyesore in the community which WAS a nice resort area with golf course, etc. for tourists to vacation and brought money into the area. They closed the whole thing down and didn't do any of what they said they were going to do. The land is valuable and it appears that Chk just wanted the land. Too bad the town folks trusted them and didn't get EVERYTHING in writing. But, little did we know that we could have put into our lease that gas could not be sold to its own entity! That's what Chk does now and we can't dispute it. SAM
