Freestone County
The Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field will see the J.A. Gilliam II Gas Unit Well No. 20 and the J.A. Gilliam II Gas Unit Well No. 27 drilled by XTO Energy. The wells will hit 13,400 feet in the J.L. Chavert Survey, A-10.  The No. 20 is 6.7 miles southwest of Teague and the No. 27 is 6.9 miles southwest of Teague. These wells may be drilled in the Freestone (Travis Peak) Field.
Ironwood Oil & Gas will drill the Dow Well No. 1 to 15,220 feet 4.1 miles east of Donie in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well is in the W. Whitaker/J.P. Fulton Survey, A-852.
Harrison County
NFR Energy will drill the Porter Deep GU Well No. 1H to 12,800 feet 4.5 miles northeast of Lakeport in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the J. Blair, Hrs. Survey, A-74.
Johnson County
The East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field will see the Sanders View drilled to 9,000 feet by Chesapeake Operating. This well is 3.9 miles northeast of Cleburne in the W.G. Cason Survey, A-155.
Leon County
BRG Lone Star will drill the Haynie Well No. 2 to 10,300 feet 14.5 miles northwest of Centerville in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field. This well is in the T.B. Hearn Survey, A-351 and may also be drilled in the Branton (Rodessa) Field, the Bear Grass (Pettit) Field or a wildcat field.

Nacogdoches County
Exco Operating will drill the Cameron Minerals SU Well No. 4H and the Cameron Minerals SU Well No. 8H in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field.
  The No. 4H is 4.1 miles southwest of Chireno.
  The No. 8H is 3.8 miles southwest of Chireno.
These wells will hit 15,000 feet in the J.A. Chirino Survey, A-17.
Panola County
The Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Havard-Davis-Griffith (Alloc) Well No. 4H drilled by Devon Energy to 14,500 feet 8.8 miles southwest of Carthage in the E. Morris E Survey, A-432.
Chevron USA will drill the J.W. Harris Well No. A2H 1.6 miles northeast of Beckville in the Carthage (Travis Peak 6400) Field. This well will hit 16,000 feet in the Hamilton, W Survey, A-272.

Robertson County
Anadarko E&P will drill the Lightsey-Capps Unit Well No. 2 to 12,000 feet 19.2 miles southeast of Franklin in the Giddings (Austin Chalk-3) Field. This is in the D.W. Campbell Survey, A-88.
Shelby County
In a lease 1.9 miles east of Joaquin in the Joaquin (Travis Peak) Field, the Pickering Lumber Company “C” Well No. 12 will be drilled by Classic to 9,000 feet in the H.L. Books Survey, A-68.
Smith County
The Wauson Well No. 1 will hit 10,000 feet 15 miles northeast of Tyler in the East Starrville (Travis Peak) Field. This well is in the W. Williams Survey, A-1059 and may be drilled in the North Starrville (Pettit or Travis) Fields, a wildcat field or the Northeast Starrville (Pettit) Field.
Tarrant County
The East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field will see Chesapeake Operating drill three wells to 9,000 feet.
  The Ballard Well No. 5H is within the city limits of Arlington in the W. Welch Survey, A-1668.
  The MS West Well No. 3H is 4.1 miles north of North Richland Hills in the S. Richardson Survey, A-1266.
  The Thornton Well No. S 6HE is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the E. Sutherland Survey, A-1438.
XTO Energy will drill several (8) wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 12,000 feet.
  The Johnson Cook G Unit Well No. 4H and the Johnson Cook G Unit Well No. 6H will are one mile northwest of Benbrook in the D.H. Dixon Survey, A-443.
  The Edwards Ranch A Unit Well No. 6H, the Edwards Ranch B Unit Well No. 7H, the Edwards Ranch B Unit Well No. 8H and the Edwards Ranch B Unit Well No. 9H are within the city limits of Benbrook.
  The CV Moore B Unit Well No. 10H is 6.6 miles northwest of Mansfield in the W. Davidson Survey, A-394.
  The Dalton Unit Well No. 4H are within the city limits of Mansfield in the M. Rockerfellow Survey, A-1267.


COMPLETIONS

Freestone County
The Teague Field has seen XTO Energy complete three wells.
  The Rogers Gas Unit Well No. 24 hit 12,420 feet 5.5 miles southeast of Teague and potentialed 2.818 million cubic feet of gas on a 16/64-inch choke.
  The Kirsch Gas Unit Well No. 34 hit 11,962 feet 5.2 miles east of Teague and potentialed 1.624 million cubic feet of gas on a 0/64-inch choke.
  The Henderson Gas Unit Well No. 26 hit 12,065 feet 5.2 miles southeast of Teague and potentialed 1.407 million cubic feet of gas on a 24/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.
The Freestone Field has seen XTO Energy complete two new wells.
  The J.M. Pollard Gas Unit Well No. 38 hit 13,114 feet 3.9 miles northwest of Donie and potentialed 1.555 million cubic feet of gas on a 18/64-inch choke.
  The J.A. Gilliam II Gas Unit Well No. 24 hit 12,935 feet 7.11 miles southwest of Teague and potentialed 174,000 cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.
Gregg County
On a 18/64-inch choke the McLendon-Combest Well No. 1 flowed with 236 barrels of crude. Dallas Production completed this well to 9,252 feet four miles north of Longview in the Willow Springs Field. Production is in the Travis Peak Transition.
The Mackey Heirs Well No. 3 hit 9,280 feet 5.5 miles north of Longview in the Willow Springs Field. This well was completed Dallas Production. On a 15/64-inch choke the well potentialed 160,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak Transition.
Harrison County
On a 17/64-inch choke the Baldwin-Mercer (Allocation) Well No. 1H potentialed 6.768 million cubic feet of gas. GMX Resources completed this well to 17,990 feet 10.1 miles southeast of Marshall in the Carthage Field. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
The Patricia Pope Whaley Gas Unit Well No. 3H was completed by BP America to 14,552 feet three miles southeast of Woodlawn in the Woodlawn Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 2.382 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Leon County
XTO Energy completed the Varibus Well No. 6H and the Gail King Well No. 57HR in the Bear Grass Field.
  The No. 6H hit 18,205 feet 6.1 miles northwest of Jewett and potentialed 8.393 million cubic feet of gas on a 12/64-inch choke.
  The No. 57HR hit 16,762 feet 5.7 miles northwest of Jewett and potentialed 5.895 million cubic feet of gas on a 12/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
On a 10/64-inch choke the Gastar Belin Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 1 potentialed 367,000 cubic feet of gas. Gastar Exploration completed this well to 19,650 feet 8.3 miles northwest of Ridge in the Hilltop Resort Field. Production is in the Bossier.
XTO Energy completed the Varibus Well No. 10HR to 18,973 feet 6.1 miles northwest of Jewett in the Bear Grass Field. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 8.870 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
Limestone County
The Chandler Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 1 was completed in the Southeast Farrar Field and the B.W. Thompson Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 22 was completed in the Farrar Field by XTO Energy.
   The No. 1 hit 9,823 feet 3.5 miles southwest of Donie. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 138,000 cubic feet of gas.
   The No. 22 hit 13,977 feet three miles southwest of Donie. On a 6/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.493 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Pettit.
Panola County
Devon Energy completed the Black Unit Well No. 16 U to 9,680 feet 3.8 miles northeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. This well hit 9,680 feet 3.8 miles northeast of Carthage. No test data was recorded. Production is in the Southwest Hill formation.
EOG Resources completed the Carthage Gas Unit Well No. 47 in the Carthage Field. This well hit 9,750 feet 5.3 miles northeast of Carthage. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 577,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak.
Patara Oil & Gas completed two wells in the Carthage Field.
  The Weir Estate Well No. 2 hit 10,365 feet 12.1 miles northwest of Carthage and potentialed 1.144 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke.
  The Taylor Heirs Well No. 8 hit 10,210 feet 12.1 miles southwest of Carthage and potentialed 889,000 cubic feet of gas on a 22/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
On a 0/64-inch choke the Sempra Energy Gas Unit II Well No. 1H potentilaed 6.789 million cubic feet of gas. XTO Energy completed this well to 16,603 feet 16.9 miles southeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. Production is in the Haynesville.
Robertson County
Devon Energy completed the C.C. Smith Well No. 1 to 13,400 feet one mile south of Hayes in the Bald Prairie Field. On a 26/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.028 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Pettit.
Rusk County
Valence Operating completed the Nolan Senesac 5 Well No. to 7,377 feet five miles southwest of Tatum in the Oak Hill Field. This well flowed with 17 barrels of crude, choke size was not recorded. Production is in the Travis Peak.
On a 42/64-inch choke the Craig GU Well No. 2H potentialed 9.252 million cubic feet of gas. Goodrich Petroleum completed this well within the city limits of Henderson in the East Henderson Field to 15,223 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Sabine County
Chesapeake Operating completed the McGuire Well No. 1H to 17,310 feet 10.6 miles northeast of San Augustine in the Carthage Field. On a 22/64 inch choke, the well potentialed 16.876 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

San Augustine County
EOG Resources completed the Nolte Unit Well No. 1H to 18,798 feet 6.2 miles southwest of San Augustine in the Carthage Field. On a 18/64-inch choke, the Nolte Unit Well No. 1H potentialed 10.814 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
XTO Energy completed the Blue Raiders DU Well No. 1H to 18,711 feet 3.5 miles southeast of Chireno in the Carthage Field. On a 17/64-inch choke the well potentialed 13.947 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
The Silas SU Well No. 1H was completed by Exco Operating to 17,838 feet nine miles northwest of Chireno in the Carthage Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 12.452 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesvill Shale.
Shelby County
The Reed Unit Well No. 2 was completed by Devon energy to 11,000 feet 10.4 miles southwest of Center in the Stockman Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 136,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak.
Noble Energy completed the Lamkin Well No. B2H to 16,770 feet 5.1 miles south of Center in the Carthage Field. On a 19/64-inch choke the well potentilaed 4.150 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Tarrant County
The Yeandle Well No. 4H was completed by Vantage Fort Worth Energy to 11,319 feet within the city limits of Arlington in the East Newark Field. On a 32/64-inch choke the well potentialed 6.428 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Chesapeake Operating completed two wells in the East Newark Field.
  The TCCD South Well No. 3H hit 14,293 feet within the city limits of North Richland Hills. On a .75-inch choke the well potentialed 7.345 million cubic feet of gas.
  The TCCD South Well No. 2H hit 14,388 feet within the city limits of North Richland Hills. On a .75-inch choke the well potentialed 5.720 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
XTO Energy completed three well in the East Newark Field.
  The TRWD Marine Quest Unit Well No. 2H hit 11,275 feet 4.2 miles northwest of Azle. On a 38/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.499 million cubic feet of gas.
  The Arlington Surber C Unit Well No. 4H hit 11,510 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth. On a 28/48-inch choke the well potentialed 3.199 million cubic feet of gas.
  The Duncan Unit Well No. B 3H hit 10,313 feet 2.4 miles northeast of Everman. On a 24/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.468 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
