One company may have the deep rights and one may have the shallow rights?
i think "they" must make some mistakes. there is the same situation in two units near me.

looks like BUFFALO=XTO WILDCAT DEEP TEST AND THE ALLEN GAS UNIT #1h AND #2H=JAMES LIME ELLORA..ANYONE KNOW IF ELLORA HAS SOLD THEIR DEEP RIGHTS AT HUXLEY YET? REPORTED THAT THEY DID A SMALL 5000 ACRE OR SO FARMOUT DEEP RIGHTS WITH EOG ON THE LOUISIANA SIDE RECENTLY
checked it out on drillinginfo and acreage not the same--both XTO wells lined up side by side..seems all leased by XTO (through Hunt acquisition)
