I saw that you found the East Texas Group. Activity has slowed down a lot since school let out in May. Let a good well make the news and they get frisky again. I post some in East Texas but mostly in San Augustine and Sabine county groups.
You'll usually find lots of activity around "Out of Gas" when things get slow. That's where everyone lets off steam. Also, check out "Off Topic" for current affairs and political stuff (I usually keep my dog out of those fights).

Any time you want to find a particular group if it's not visible on the main page, go to the top of the main page and click on "Shaler Groups". The only reason I suggested posting also in E. Tx. Group is because I'm not sure how many of the texas folks ever go to the mineral rights law category. Most of the posts pertain to Louisiana law and are of little help to Texas mineral owners.

Talk Shale is further sub-divided into categories. It is getting more complicated as we grow. The current activity/discussions are always on the front page. If something moves from the front page, you can bump it up to the front by making a new post on the discussion.

If you want to have a private conversation with a member you first need to add them to your "Friends". Then you will be able to send private e-mail without leaving the site.

If you get lost give me a shout. Oh, and check the upper right corner of any page for "Invites", e-mail, etc...
